Why choose a Reverse Osmosis System?
Looking for bottled water equivalent, at your fingertips, without the bottles? Wanting to make vast improvements to the quality of your tap water, whilst making huge savings to your finances? Want to reduce your carbon footprint and help the fight against plastic pollution by eliminating the need for bottled water? If any of the above apply to you, then read on...
Our range of reverse osmosis systems create pure water capable of removing over 10,000 known impurities. Our range of 6 and above stage systems add a number of ionising minerals to restore the good minerals lost in the filtration process and provide other conditioning designed to promote health. For this reason, they are in the top end range of water filtration. The reverse osmosis membrane splits the water into highly pure and concentrated waste to achieve this level of purity. Commercially available bottled water often uses reverse osmosis technology, yet you can have this freshly produced at your point of use.
Do you need a Pumped or a Non-Pumped system?
If you have high water pressure, more than 3 bars, then you should use a Non-pumped system. If your water pressure is lower than 3 bar or you are not sure, we recommend you use a Pumped system. A pumped system comes with a normal UK 3 pin plug and just needs to be plugged into a nearby electrical socket. If you have any appliances (dishwasher, washing machine etc) next to your installation area (usually the kitchen sink) then it is normally very easy to find a plug socket there. Pumped systems are very quiet and very low power. If you have any questions or require an installation service, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
What are the benefits of RO systems?
Environmentally Friendly – use a reverse osmosis water filter and remove the need to buy bottled water. Filtered water is comparable to bottled water, it is more cost effective and it means you can do your bit against plastic pollution.
Tap Water tastes amazing – Your tap water will taste better than bottled water once all of the chemicals and other nasties are removed.
Multi-stage filtration - RO filters are multi-stage filters, i.e.. they are made up of several pre- and post-filters that remove different types of contaminants.
Efficient contaminant removal - Due to being made up of various different filters, RO systems have enhanced contaminant removal abilities removing nitrates, bacteria, arsenic, fluoride, pesticides, pharmaceuticals, chlorine, chloramines, and many more types of contaminants and toxic substances.
- Low water pressure? Not a problem – We supply pumped reverse osmosis filter systems that can be used if water pressure levels are not the best.
